Updates: Chapter Twenty (the final chapter) was posted on 04/16/08. I started this story in February of ‘08 and I am completely thrilled to have finished it.

About: I’ve had the idea for this story for months. I wasn’t sure whether or not I wanted to attempt to put my ideas into words, but after weeks of thinking about it, I decided to give it a shot. The title of the story was inspired by a line in a song by the Goo Goo Dolls called Black Balloon.
